Jing’an Temple Everything you need to know
This millennium-old temple will soon be a golden plus version. Jing’an Temple, known as the head of the four famous temples in the Magic City, has a history of more than 1760 years. During the period when Sun Wu of the Three Kingdoms led Jiangnan, Jing’an Temple had already been located on the banks of the Suzhou River, which was then called Hudu Zhongxuan Temple. It was renamed Jing’an Temple in the Song Dynasty and relocated to its current location. Outside the temple, there is bustling traffic and a bustling city. Inside the temple, there is a serene and solemn millennium-old temple built with billions of yuan of gold, which is in line with the modern city, very unique.
Cultural Significance:
Religious Importance:Jing’an Temple serves as a temple of worship where Buddhist believers seek inner peace and freedom.
Pilgrims generally head straight to the temple to pay their respects and receive spiritual support from the resident monks.
Cultural Heritage:
Jing’an Temple, a protected cultural heritage site, preserves not only the loads of historical and cultural values.
Its conservation will guarantee that the upcoming generations get ample time to adore it and understand its impact.
Ginkgo Trees and Seasonal Beauty:
This November, the ancient ginkgo trees in Jing’an Temple should gradually turn yellow. The photo was taken at the end of November last year. At that time, the leaves had almost fallen off, and only a few stronger ones remained on the branches. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone keep an eye on them, as it is about to become a beautiful time! With the blessing of golden ginkgo biloba, every golden ancient temple is truly beautiful and crying.
Besides gold and ginkgo, what other highlights are there?
The Jing’an Pagoda, cast in bronze and coated with gold on the surface. A large incense burner made of 15 tons of white copper cast in the center of the temple. A 180-ton Ashoka pillar engraved with the words “Eternal Residence of the Dharma” at the entrance of the temple. A Sakyamuni Buddha statue cast with 15 tons of pure silver in the Shakya Mani Hall. A thousand-year-old camphor tree single tree Guanyin statue. What else? You are welcome to add, friends.

Photo Opportunities:
Figure 1 is also the one that I am most satisfied with. The camera is located at the corner of the road in Jing’an Temple, and the reflection of the water pool can simultaneously capture Jing’an Temple walking on the ground and Jing’an Temple swimming in the water.
Figure 2 is taken on the overpass of Yan’an West Road, taking an elevator. As the construction was underway, it was taken by climbing up the fence. Hahaha! (Don’t imitate dangerous actions, friends). The photo still has a strong combination of modern construction sites and ancient architecture.
Figure 3 shows a position approximately 50 meters away from the opposite side of the road (towards IKEA).
The 1788 square parking spot is also located near the pool.
Figure 4 is taken next to the green belt on the path behind the pool. It can accommodate a crane and has a good combination of heating and cooling.
In the following pictures, everyone can look at the pictures and find the machine seat by themselves. I believe you.
Figure 5 shows the 1788 Square parking spot located approximately 50 meters across the road (in the direction of IKEA), which is also near the pool.
Figure 6 is taken on the edge of the green belt on the path behind the pool, which can be connected to a crane and has a good combination of cold and warm.
In the following pictures, everyone can look at the pictures and find a spot by themselves. I believe you are so smart. It will definitely not be difficult (in fact, there is an elevator entrance on the Yan’an West Road overpass). A very good parking spot, but due to road construction, things are blocking it. Everyone should be able to go there and try it out later.
Jing’An Temple now is not just an exhibition of an amazing cultural heritage but also it is a demonstration of the religious understanding of Shanghai people. It commences from the time of its origin no matter how ancient it may be and ends up with its present-day value as of now. This wonderful structure continues to make tourists float on clouds with its unconstrained glory all these years. If you just want to find some time and relax in the serene environment or simply want to see the incredible architecture, the Temple of Jing’an will take you on a journey you won’t forget soon.
